FMOps is a sole trader business run by Fionn Murphy, based in Dublin, Ireland. FMOps is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: fionn@fmops.ie.
This website does not have a login, a shop, or a contact form that stores your details. We collect personal data in three ways only:
1. When you book a call. Bookings run through Calendly, embedded on this site. Calendly collects your name, email address, time zone, and anything you type into the booking form. We receive that booking and store it in our email and calendar.
2. When you email us. If you write to fionn@fmops.ie we hold your email address and the content of your message.
3. Website analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
We use your booking or email details to answer you, hold the call, and, if you become a client, to deliver and invoice the service. The legal basis is performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before a contract. We use analytics on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Calendly (booking), Google Workspace (email and calendar), Google Analytics (site statistics), and Vercel (website hosting). Each acts as a processor under its own terms and its own privacy policy. Some are based outside the EU and rely on standard contractual clauses for transfers.
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for six years, because Irish tax law requires it. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics, currently 14 months.
This site sets Google Analytics cookies. The embedded Calendly booking tool may set its own cookies when it loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Email fionn@fmops.ie and we will reply within one month.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
