Frequently asked questions — Waterford, Ireland
How FMOps works, what things cost, who they suit, and what you are left owning. Anything specific to one service is answered on that service page.
If your question is not here, ask it on the free call. A short call, no pitch. I will tell you if it is not a fit.
I do. FMOps is one person, not an agency. No account managers, no handoffs, no juniors learning on your budget. I scope the work, do the work, and answer the phone.
No. By day I do search visibility at a London SEO agency — the same work agencies bill thousands a month for. FMOps is where I do it directly, evenings and weekends, for a small number of Irish businesses. House rule: I never work with my employer's clients or prospects — ever.
Email fionn@fmops.ie. Every service starts with a free 30-minute call. There is no form to fill in and nothing to pay to have the conversation.
Thirty minutes on what you do, who buys from you, and what has to happen. A short call, no pitch. For AI visibility I run the free check first and walk you through the screenshots. For automation the call is an audit: we list the repetitive jobs, how often each one happens and how long it takes, and that list is the quote.
Few, on purpose, because I deliver every piece of work myself alongside a day job. AI visibility is limited to three founding pilot slots for Q4 2026, and across every service the rule is one business per trade per town.
Based in Waterford, working across Ireland. Most of the work is done remotely. A Claude for Small Business install includes a day on-site with your team.
Whichever matches the problem you have now. Not sure? That is what the free 30-minute call is for — we work out what would help most, and if the answer is "nothing yet", I will tell you.
AI visibility: the check is free, retainers are €2,000 a month, with three founding pilots at €750 a month for three months. Websites: one-off builds at €500, €750 or €1,000. Automation: quoted per project after a free audit call, with projects starting at €500. Claude for Small Business: €1,750 setup, then €600 a month.
Website builds and automation projects are one-off. AI visibility is a monthly retainer. A Claude install is a one-off setup fee plus a monthly fee. The website care plan — €50 to €100 a month for hosting, updates, backups and small changes — is optional and never bundled into the build price.
No. A website care plan can be cancelled at any time and the site stays yours. The Claude monthly can be cancelled with 30 days notice, and what is already built keeps running. Automation workflows live in your accounts, so there is no monthly fee to me for something that just runs.
Sometimes. Your Claude licences are paid to Anthropic directly and are not included in either fee. For automation I connect the systems you already pay for rather than moving you onto something new.
The AI visibility check is free, and every service starts with a free 30-minute call. On an automation audit call you get the list of what could be handed to a machine either way.
Irish small businesses where one new customer is worth hundreds or thousands: dental practices, solicitors, physios and clinics, garages and auto, contractors, accountancy practices and letting agents. A Claude install works best for teams of roughly three to thirty staff already running on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
AI visibility is not a fit for a business that does not yet have a website worth pointing an AI at. A Claude install is not a fit for a sole trader with no staff to train, or a business where nothing is written down yet. An automation job can be too small to be worth paying for. In each case I will tell you on the call.
Yes — on the first call, rather than take the work. If a service will not move the needle for your business I will say so, and point you at what to do instead.
One business per trade per town. And I never work with my employer's clients or prospects — ever.
Yours. For automation your data stays where it is, and I connect the systems you already pay for. For a Claude install your data stays in your own systems. A website is built on a domain you own.
Only what the job needs. Automation workflows are built against your real accounts and tested on real cases. A Claude install connects Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, your accounts package where supported, and your shared files and folders, with access limited to what is needed.
No. With a Claude install nothing sends, files or pays without a person clicking approve. On a website build you approve the copy and the layout before anything goes public. Automation workflows are shown to you working before they go live.
A Claude for Small Business install includes a written data processing agreement. How fmops.ie itself handles your details is set out in the privacy notice.
Yes. You own the domain and the website, and you own the automation workflows. No proprietary platform, no lock-in, no hostage hosting.
Your automation workflows keep running, because they live in your accounts. Your website stays yours whether or not you keep a care plan. What is already built on a Claude install keeps running.
Automation projects include thirty days of fixes after launch. Websites can carry an optional care plan from €50 a month for hosting, updates, backups and small changes. The Claude monthly covers one new or improved workflow each month plus up to two hours of support.
Yes. Automation handover is a one-page reference: what runs, when it runs, how to switch it off, and who to ring. A Claude install includes a written handover and a recorded training session. A website launch includes a short video showing how to update it.
